With this spirit the students of 6 A and 7c of Little Flower Convent school Mangwal celebrated Baisakhi with gusto and religious fervour. The students highlighted the religious and cultural significance of the festival in an enlightening speech. A beautiful poem was recited which added flavour to celebration.
On the onset of Sikh New Year and the founding of the Khalsa Panth, the students performed the traditional Bhangra, which depicted the real life of farmers of Punjab.
The motive behind the celebrations was to apprise the students of the rich culture and heritage of Punjab.
The Manager Fr. Francis Xavier and the Principal fr. Jeganathan conveyed their best wishes to all and blessed everyone with the bounty of the season and a harvest of joy and prosperity.
