The Little Flower Convent School Mangwal's Annual Sports Meet ‘Khelothon- 2022’ was held on 1 December 2022. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Varjeet Waliya Additional Deputy Commissioner Sangrur and Guests of Honour were Sh. Gurbhinder Singh PCS and Ms. Deepti Gupta PCS.
The event began with band display followed by the march past by the Cabinet and the House Contingents who marched smartly in synchronization to the drumbeats. This was followed by the torch relay and oath-taking ceremony. Then Khelothon was declared open and the audience looked high with amazement as the balloons and white pigeons soared high, symbolic of the aspirations of the Lfcsians to reach the stars.
The well-coordinated Hula Hoop -Drill and energetic Aerobics display and Bhangra mesmerized all. The track and field events infused a new competitive spirit.
The Chief Guest congratulated all the participants for their true sportsmanship, and advised them to keep striving as there is no limit to attain glory, being righteous in life and leading by example. The Grand Finale show was spectacular.
Khelothon concluded with a vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
