On 22 November 2025, the students of Class 9, accompanied by their responsible teachers,Ms. Harneet kaur ,Ms.Ambika,Mr. Teerath Singh and Ms.Monika visited the Shaheed Udham Singh Museum, Sunam. The educational trip was organised to help students learn about the life, sacrifice and patriotism of Shaheed Udham Singh, the great freedom fighter who devoted his life to the nation.
The journey began in the morning, and all students travelled safely under the supervision of their teachers. Upon reaching the museum, the students were warmly welcomed by the staff. They were first shown the gallery showcasing rare photographs, personal belongings, letters, and documents related to Udham Singh’s life. The students were deeply moved as they observed the exhibits that narrated his courageous role in avenging the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
The teachers guided the students throughout the visit and explained the historical importance of each section.The students were also given refreshments by the Museum staff.
Students actively asked questions and took notes for their upcoming project work. The visit not only enriched their historical knowledge but also inspired them with the values of courage, patriotism, and dedication towards the nation.
All students returned to school safely under the care of their teachers. The visit proved to be a meaningful and memorable educational experience for Class 9.
